6 Nations Championship Anthem
The Howling Wolf Group worked for over 2 years consulting 6 Nations Rugby Limited on the creation of an Official Championship Anthem, with a view to launching (for the first time) a powerful and enduring  sonic identity for the sport.  Working very closely with The 6 Nations Chief Executive and Commercial Manager, The Howling Wolf Group developed the framework and brief for the project, before starting on the creative execution.

Bringing in an array of very established international producers, Howling Wolf Productions worked on creating various top class demos/pieces of music, to enable senior management to select one fitting anthem to represent the sporting body.  Once this one piece was chosen, Executive Producer, Arnon Woolfson worked over a number of months with the chosen Producer to complete the final recording and production of ‘Six Together’, the music now chosen to represent the sonic identity of The 6 Nations.  This will be used by the BBC and all of the other international broadcasters to front the glamorous sport from February 2010 onwards.

Little House TV

The Howling Wolf Group has been working with Inqb8r and Freewire on the development of ’Little House TV’, a new weekly TV series going out via multi-platform distribution (including the Freewire network) to a student audience (of approx 330,000) in the UK's universities.  The show kicked off in September 2009 and is aimed specifically at a student/youth audience.  It is already getting impressive viewing figures.  This exciting project is being developed together with David Mercer (who was Controller of Young Peoples Programmes for Carlton and has spent many years at the BBC, working on shows such as ‘Going Live!’ and ‘Live and Kicking!’ developing talent such as Phillip Schofield, Andi Peters, Trevor and Simon , Gordon the Gopher etc).

The ‘Little House TV’ show, which is being filmed at the UK’s indie pop band Flight Of Kites' own Little House (studio and home!) utilises students from the UK’s University Film & Video departments, who work alongside industry professionals to film and edit our weekly programme which is screened via the Freewire network on newly commissioned student Channel 106, to all university students living in Halls of Residence across the UK.

Little House which is fronted by presenters ‘Holly’ and ‘Ben’ is already getting extremely positive feedback not only from the student/youth community and universities but also from the TV industry.  We are currently aligning the show with some interesting partners in the entertainment space.  More news to be announced soon...

Little House TV is planned to become a ‘T4’ type offering (ie. Offering slots/programming within its own framework)  sitting on the Student Channel and comprising of music, comedy, interviews, cookery slots, games and much more....

This is a new and pioneering approach to multi-platform programming (offering content to youth made by youth), addressing an audience that to date have not been approached consistently with compelling and exciting content whilst also offering Film & TV department students the opportunity of getting real hands-on experience in making live, exciting programming under the watchful eye of professionals, counting towards their coursework.

Dani Harmer

JuicyMusik recently signed Dani Harmer to a £3 million record deal with Universal Music/Decca Records.  The contract for the Tracey Beaker star is apparently the highest ever for a British TV actress, according to the Daily Record.

Arnon Woolfson was responsible for finding Dani and worked alongside Producer and Songwriter Tom Nichols to develop Dani from a successful teen actress into a music artist.  The campaign involves Dani singing on her debut single ‘Free’ which also happens to be the lead song/theme tune for her successful CBBC TV programme, Dani’s House which has just been re-commissioned for another series.

Cancer Research UK
The Howling Wolf Group spent 12 months nurturing and strategising, developing and building Sound & Vision, an annual event run by Cancer Research UK at Abbey Road Studios.  The purpose of the event is to raise money, profile and awareness for the Charity.  The Howling Wolf Group were responsible for restructuring and building the foundations for the event by bringing in industry partners (including the likes of LiveNation, Sony Music, Warner, Universal EMI, Absolute Radio, LD Communications etc) as well as artists/talent to perform.  Additionally we were able to secure some high value donations from well known artists which sold at the live auction, raising over £200k on the night.

The event was held on 26th February 2009, hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Whispering Bob Harris and was a massive success.  The artist line-up  included Paul Weller, Kelly Jones/The Stereophonics and Lemar with an appearance by Sir George Martin.

The Howling Wolf Group will be evaluating the event and commencing work on next year’s Sound & Vision at Abbey Road as well as developing a new bigger music event.  Details TBA...

Mr Superfly
Mr Superfly is a project that was developed and Executive Produced by Howling Wolf Productions, involving the creation and development of a catchy song and accompanying animated video to support the music.  The project was very much compared with the likes of 'Crazy Frog'.

The project was launched in conjunction with Ryanair who offered us complete marketing support and media, with access to millions of passengers flying with what is Europe's biggest low cost airline.  All 1,000 daily flights featured music being played onboard, with overhead locker advertising, double page spreads in the Ryanair magazine, website presence, radio advertising and onboard merchandise for sale on their trolleys.
